Comments about Richards Homewares Commercial Grade Garment Rack:

This product was flimsy from the start. I have other rolling closets and have never had an issues, but this time the assembly was easy enough and the finished product was not even able to roll because the metal is so thin. Stacks and Stacks was not interested in solving the issue unless they could get the manufacutre to fix the issue. I guess my advise is READ THE REVIEWS.

I have LOTS of clothes and not enough closet space. Guests use the front of the guestroom door or stay packed! Wasted $ on several 60" wardrobes, each one broke; the last one is leaning! Already have one of these covered in the garage-can't wait to get #2! It's the best!

This rack works great for the occasional large events and stores easily when not in use. We are utilizing 3 of these racks in our facility.

                    Suggestion

                    Q & A

                    Questions about this item:
Shopper: Is this product sturdy and worth the $$$?
Taunya O: My daughter is on a competitive dance team, she is involved in numerous competitions and recitals throughout the year. We carry this rack with us to all of them. Several of the other mothers bought racks at other locations, Target, Bed bath and Beyond. Ours is the most sturdy of all of them. When not using for competitions, I use it daily to dry my work clothes on, it does not buckle, bend or collapse under the weight as I've seen other cheaper racks do.
Rea L: Yes it definitely is worth it. It is very sturdy and I like the expandable rods. I keep mine in my bathroom and I loved it so much, I bought another just to keep hang off season clothes. Then I just switch them out each season and roll the current into my bathroom.
Matt M: This is from a poster who would like to remain anonymous: Definitely very sturdy. Not happy with other cheaper rack previously purchased. I may need another and would definitely buy the same.
Germaine J: Prior to purchasing the Commercial Garment Rack from 'Stacks', I tried several others - ALL of them broke! I'm SO happy I found this one! After reading the customer reviews, I ordered one... I was so pleased when I received it, soon after, I ordered another one - both were replacements for the other brands that didn't last. Two years later, both 'Stacks' Racks are loaded with clothing and standing strong. They are extremely sturdy and well-made, definitely worth the price. I'm not a commercial user, just a "Fashionista" with lots of clothes and not enough closet space. Just wish I had seen this rack sooner!
Constance P: I have bought several of these racks, and I find they are the strongest, sturdiest and most stable ones I have ever used. I put a lot of heavy clothes on them, and the racks have never broken, tipped or bent. I should note that the extensions that telescope from the ends of the rail are very strong but they do tilt at a slight angle once you put clothes on them. This does not bother me, but it might be a problem for someone else. Nothing slips off, and the tilt is minor, but thought I'd mention it. I also find the racks very quick and easy to assemble by myself (no tools), but you may want to have an extra pair of hands around. I feel they are worth the money.
Carrie D: Absolutely sturdy and worth the money. I live in an old apartment with weak plaster walls that don't support wall mounted closet rods. I use the rack on a permanent basis in a closet to hold all of my coats, long sleeve shirts and sweaters. Even the extended arms are sturdy enough to hold these heavy clothing pieces.
barbara f: I found the first one that I bought for my house in California so sturdy that I bought a second one for my house in Indiana. I also bought one for my son and daughter-in-law when they moved into their new house. These racks are "worth their weight in gold"!
Patricia d: It's a wonderful product VERY sturdy GREAT quality! Worth every penny! Odd you asked this question since I could not remember where I have purchased this product from, and I'm looking to buy another one. You will enjoy it a lot, it fits under the bed when unfold. At this time I have all my winter coats therefore lots of weight holds on this rack. Thanks for asking and good luck! Patricia Friendswood, TX
Fae F: Yes! It's every bit as good as it sounds, a slick piece of equipment.
                    Comment(s) about this item:
Ernie Z: I have used them in the past and are very easy to use as well as durable.
mary pat c: it had good reviews
Karyn S: It is useful for storage in rental house and then for offseason clothing later
Daniel C: I hope by being "commercial grade" it will be stronger than some of the other models.
maxine c: Heavy duty & heavy duty rollers
Susan J: These are very sturdy and portable. They hold a lot of weight and yet still roll easily. Have recommended to friends who need extra storage.
