In addition to offering 18 feet of pull-out space for drying clothing or herbs and flowers, the easy-to-mount wooden wallrack unit features four Shaker-style pegs for hanging sweaters, hats and jackets, plus a handy top shelf (5 1/2" wide) for storage or display. Pullout wood drying rack expands to 22" and folds up to a compact 6" when not in use. Unlike most indoor clothes-line devices, the clothes drying section of this expandable wall rack is strong enough to hang heavy wet laundry such as jeans and jackets. Ideal for your laundry room, the wall-mounted rack is also useful for mud room or entryway - provides the perfect place to hang wet mittens, socks, etc. Sturdy construction: the solid pine pieces are firmly secured with screws, which are inset and covered with birch buttons. The extension rack is made of 1" x 3/4" pine legs and contains 12 birch dowels (3/8" x 22 1/2" ea.). Made of white pine, with dowels and pegs of birch. Available in White Pine (unfinished, ready for sanding and paint or stain). Arrives fully assembled and comes with all hardware for easy mounting. Indoors the HOA will never know. \n\nThis is perfect! It folds near flat to the wall, is attractive in the laundry room whether you have supplies, flowers or art on top. The hooks are perfect for the dog leash, storage bags for doggie plastic bags. One place for all I need to walk the dog. \n\nStretched out this rack holds nearly a full drier load and clothes dry quickly. \n\nI rarely use my drier and estimate I save about $20.00 a month that way on my energy bill.
