I have put things together before but this has poor instructions and I felt for the price of this tool it should have excellent instructions. As far as being adjustable good luck, it still doesn't work. So,it hangs in my garage. As the saying goes there is one born everyday, and the day I bought this I discovered I was one. Poor construction does not help. Pros

And it doesn't pick up leaves that are even slightly wet or stuck to ground. Just light, loose, dry leaves. I returned it immediately.
