My adult son and I spent nearly five hours assembling this bed, rails and drawers. Had I known the difficulty w/assembly I would never have ordered or opened the three (3) heavy packages. However, once assembled it is a very attractive, and functional support for my newest Queen foundation and mattress. I've also added my own headboard. Again, this is perhaps the most difficult item I have ever ordered online.
