Comments about Stacks and Stacks Remote Control Holder - Modern Black Leather Look: I bought this item for X-mas last year. I absolutely love it. It's perfect. All remotes in one spot w/swivel action all neat. Wonderful. The slots aren't the same sizes... but luckily we have the right 4 remote sizes for the 4 spaces... (a fat stereo one, and regular cablevision one, and a skinny tv and ps3 remote). The problem? It's not leather... it's some weird pleather material, and from hundreds of times of taking the remotes in and out, and them rubbing the sides of the "pleather", it's falling apart... not at the seams.. I mean the "coating" has rubbed off and little black pieces of whatever the material is comes off and lands around holder area. Yucky gross. Wish it had wear resistant material =( But hey, [$]?! worth every penny, even if I got 6 months out of it.. and I got 7. I'm still using it, I just dust more.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Remote Control Holder - Modern Black Leather Look: Set up assembly was quick. Has a solid, heavy base so it will not tip over. The holder can swivel easily or not at all as you adjust the tension. Nice materials -- supple black leather that did not smudge, and nice wooden base with metal insert and felt-covered bottom. Kind of a cherry finish -- goes well with my furniture. Best of all, the remotes are organized at my fingertips, and easy to see so I can grab the correct one. The largest remotes fit best in the outside slots; thinner ones on the interior. I've tried a couple different kinds of holders and like this one best -- for convenience, looks and quiet operation -- no clacking around of remotes in a box.
