To create a sleeping place with the chair-size convertible futon, the Classic Jr. Twin Ottoman must be purchased separately. Please see the images below the "Additional Info" tab for links to the wood ottoman as well as the mattress and mattress cover. Discover this Renaissance futon frame convertible in a delightful medium oak finish - a finish which masterfully enhances the wood's natural grain and adds a hint of golden luster! It features a rounded top armrest supported by flushed edged leg posts and paired wood pickets. The sides of the arms contain four, wide wood slats that give a light and airy feeling. Shopper: does the chair turn into bed or do you need the footstool. Need to buy mattress and cover? Is it comfortable?

This product has recently been added to our site and has not been purchased yet, so unfortunately no customers can answer your questions. However, I can answer a few. The product on our site only includes the wood frame, so yes, you will need to purchase the mattress and mattress cover - the link is located below the "Additional Info" tab. The chair sized futon needs to be combined with the footstool to create a bed. I have updated the site to reflect that.
