Returns Policy
Holiday Returns Deadline: February 28th (for items shipped 11/01 thru 12/31)
Stacks And Stacks will accept returns within 30 days from the date that the order was received by the customer. All return inquires must be made within 30 days. All personal choice returns must be received new, unused, undamaged and unassembled items must be within its original packaging. You must contact us within 30-days for return instructions. Failure to contact us, will affect our ability to process the return and any corresponding credit to your account. Please visit our Contact Us page and choose Returns from the drop down menu, or call 1-800-761-5222 for return instructions. Please note: altering an item in any way negates the possibility of a return.
Some of our products are shipped from our California warehouse but most are directly shipped from manufacturers across the country, and returns can be handled differently.
Warehouse returns:
Items shipped directly from Stacks And Stacks warehouse will have a return slip located inside the box.
Manufacture "Drop ship" Returns:
This may also apply to damaged and/or defective items.

The customer is responsible for the return shipping fees, and the original shipping fee will be deducted from any credit. Additionally, if your purchase qualified for "Free Shipping" the actual cost of shipping of your item will be deducted from your refund. To determine these costs please refer to the Shipping Section of our site. Undeliverable packages are considered personal choice returns; standard return refunds after notable deductions apply.
Should any returns get damaged (or lost) during (return) shipping the customer is responsible for filing any and all claims with the carrier (as Stacks and Stacks will be unable to provide a credit for damaged or lost merchandise). Therefore, we recommend you insure the package(s). After 30 days we reserve the right to refuse a return. The refund for any granted returns after such time will consist of store credit for item cost minus any applicable fees. Altering an item from its original condition in any way negates the possibility of the item being returned.
Customized items such as Address plaques, mailboxes, door mats etc. are non-returnable.
Bedding materials (Mattress, Pillows etc.) are not returnable if the protective plastic packaging has been removed.
Any item that poses a health risk due to possible use (toilet brushes, plungers, etc.) cannot be returned.
Canadian Returns Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with a Stacks and Stacks purchase or gift for any reason, please return it for a refund. Please note that this refund will include all duties and taxes that were initially paid on the items you are returning. Our customer care center will assist you with processing your return; please follow the instructions listed below:

At Stacks and Stacks we make every effort to replace most damaged or defective merchandise, however, we can not accept exchanges. In order to help you get exactly what you want, simply return your unwanted item(s) for a refund and we will help you place a new order for the item(s) you want.
Please note that all refunds will be processed after the merchandise has been returned.
Stacks and Stacks will not be able to honor previous sale prices or promotions when the you place your new order.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS:
Be sure to open and inspect all packages immediately upon receipt! Stacks and Stacks must be notified within 30-days of your receipt if any item is damaged, defective, or missing parts. Please call our office during our regular business hours, or to send an email, please visit our Contact Us page and choose Damaged/Defective Item in the drop down menu. Failure to contact our office within 30-days may void our Returns / Damaged Item policy.
If the package appears to have been slightly damaged during transit, we encourage you to write "Package Damaged" on the slip when you sign for it.
If the package is severely damaged you can refuse to accept delivery of the shipment. Please let us know if this occurs so that we are aware of the situation, and can replace your order, if desired.
Be sure to keep all packaging, including interior packing materials and any interior and/ or exterior boxes so that Stacks and Stacks can submit a damage claim with the freight carrier. Items must be returned in the original packaging. It is critical you obtain the original box and all packaging materials as a call tag may need to be issued to pick-up and inspect the damaged/defective merchandise. Failure to keep the box and materials will effect our ability to process your request for a refund or replacement. Also, in some cases, after the pick-up of damaged/defective merchandise, an inspection will take place to determine the cause of the damage/defect. The results of the inspection will determine the level of your refund.
Stacks and Stacks reserves the right to supply replacement parts whenever possible to correct any damaged or defective component of an item. Replacement parts, offered at our discretion, can often eliminate the need to return an item, or to replace the entire unit. Such replacement parts, will be sent via regular ground delivery, at no cost to the customer. When a damaged product is returned, the credit will include any shipping costs due.
