Domestic Shipping

Stacks and Stacks will always attempt to ship your order immediately, although it can take up to 3 business days (do not count weekends) to process, especially during busy holiday and back to school periods. Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Credit cards are billed when items are shipped, not on receipt of order. Whenever possible, on shipments coming directly from our warehouse, Stacks and Stacks uses recycled cartons and paper which we shred at our facility. We are environmentally sensitive and do this to avoid using plastic packaging materials.

Stacks and Stacks offers a wide assortment of products, over 40,000, that ship from various locations all over the country. Many Companies base shipping costs on dollar amounts so that if you purchase an expensive item that doesn't weigh much, you get charged high shipping costs. Our shipping fees are based on:

1- Actual weight and size to reduce costs

2- The exact zip code item is shipped from and exact item of where it is shipped to.

Shipping is not a profit center for Stacks and Stacks.

Please refer to map for estimated shipping days for orders received before noon that ship from our warehouse (Ships directly from Stacks and Stacks). This map is not for use on items designated “Ships directly from the manufacturer”. Delivery times for those items are indicated on the product pages. Extra time is needed when working with outside manufacturers as products are shipped from many different states.

 


 

Standard Delivery

Depending on the fulfillment location and the items ordered, your order will arrive either by UPS, USPS, FedEx or a common carrier (for larger items). Please note, Fed Ex and UPS do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Unless stated on the product page that item "ships from manufacturer", or ships by Common Carrier (see below), normal shipping times can be checked with this chart and the above color map. Orders received by 12 Noon, Pacific Standard Time will be delivered to the following states by the business days indicated. Days stated do not include weekends or Holidays. These dates include order processing, packing, and handling times. 

Express Delivery

1-UPS

Next day or 2 day, 3 day, and USPS Priority Mail shipping is only available on items shipped from our warehouse and not on items marked "Ships from Manufacturer". Express shipment orders placed and received into our system by 12:00, PST will be eligible to ship out the same day pending product availability.

Next day service: Delivery will occur on the next full business day. (i.e. if a package is shipped out on a Friday, the next business day would be Monday.)

2 day service: Delivery will occur on the second full business day. (i.e if a package is shipped out on a Friday, the second business day would be Tuesday.)

3 day service: Delivery will occur on the third full business day. (i.e. if a package is shipped out on a Friday, the third business day would be Wednesday.)

Please do not count the day that a package is shipped out as a full business day. Business days are M-F excluding weekends and holidays. International and APO/FPO cannot be Expressed Delivered. If an order includes items that can and cannot be expressed delivered, and you want to "express deliver " the items that can be expedited, the total shipping fees will reflect regular ground rates and express rates. (not all items will be expressed)

2- US Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail

US Postal Service Priority Mail: USPS Priority mail shipment is available to all 50 states, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and APO/FPO. Priority mail arrives in 2-5 business days after your order has been placed depending on where you are in the US. If an order contains items that ship directly from one of our manufacturers, the entire order will be shipped by Fed Ex. Ground. Delivery times are not guaranteed.

Flat Rate Shipping

Flat Rate Shipping prices are indicated on the product pages under the retail price as a ‘per unit’ price. Applies to standard shipping within the continental U.S. Excludes Hawaii, Alaska, US territories and APO/FPO address. Not available through Canadian and Intl. checkouts. Cannot be combined with other special offers, including affiliate site offers, or promotional coupon codes. Cannot be applied to previous purchases. Terms are subject to change at any time.  

Ships From Manufacturer

Items marked as shipped directly from the manufacturer cannot be "express" shipped. If you ordered more than one item they may be delivered separately. Please allow extra time for delivery. Delivery information or tracking numbers may not be available for at least 2 weeks.

Common Carrier

If the product page has the following symbol , these items are delivered by Common Carrier. Stacks uses common carrier services on items that are too heavy or too bulky to send any other way. Please allow 15 - 20 business days for Common Carrier delivery, not counting weekends.

Common carrier deliveries are performed by one of our many trucking companies using a 20 to 40 foot trailer truck. The service includes a courtesy call prior to delivery, to schedule an appointment delivery window that is convenient for you. When the shipment arrives, it is your responsibility to unload the item from the truck. If you are expecting heavy items, you should consider getting someone to assist you. Although they may on occasion, drivers are not obligated to unload the merchandise from the truck. Any packages unloaded by the driver will be left on the curb, and will not be delivered inside homes or businesses.

Another solution, when possible, is to open the box outside, and bring individual components in one at a time. A signature is required at time of delivery by someone over the age of 18. Occasionally, fully assembled furniture may ship common carrier if the packaging allows. Common carrier deliveries are only performed Monday through Friday.

Please note that there is no Express Delivery on Common Carrier Deliveries. Also, these items may not be shipped to Hawaii or Alaska.

White Glove Delivery

White Glove Delivery is an upgrade from basic Common Carrier Delivery described above. For this higher class of shipping, the driver will: deliver your package(s) into the room of your choice (up to two (2) flights of stairs max.), unpack the boxes and remove debris/packaging material.

Please Note!

Some items can only be shipped via White Glove Delivery and will default to this shipping automatically. Only items that have a Common Carrier Icon are eligible for White Glove Delivery. Customer must measure doorways, stairways, elevators, and or tight turn areas to make sure that the items can be delivered into the room of choice; especially for items that come fully assembled (see product details). White Glove service is not available to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or APO/FPO destinations.

Special Delivery - Manna

Threshold Plus: Delivery is an upgrade from basic Common Carrier Delivery described above. For this higher class of shipping, a 2 person team1 will utilize equipment to safely lower your product(s) from the truck to the ground and will deliver your product just inside the recipient’s preferred entrance.

White Glove: Delivery is an upgrade from basic Common Carrier or Threshold Plus Delivery described above. For this higher class of shipping, a 2 person team will: utilize equipment to safely lower your product(s) from the truck to the ground, deliver your package(s) into the room of your choice (up to two(2) flights of stairs max.) and will unpack the boxes and remove debris/packaging material.

1Utilizing two trained providers is solely at Manna’s discretion for Threshold Plus Bundles. Utilizing a second person is dependent on Product size, weight and lifting equipment availability.

2In the event the doorway isn’t of sufficient width to accept the boxed product on a Threshold Plus Delivery, an alternate location, such as a garage, will be acceptable. LDC is not required to remove hinges in a Threshold Plus delivery.

Some items can only be shipped with either Threshold Plus or White Glove Delivery and will default to this shipping automatically.

International and APO/FPO Shipping

Stacks and Stacks offers International and APO/FPO shipping on selected items. Packages that weigh over 50 pounds, or are oversized cannot be shipped Internationally except to Canada. At check out simply click on either the "Canadian Checkout " or "International Checkout" buttons to place your order.  Clicking either link will transfer the items in your shopping cart to one of our trusted partner sites.

Canadian orders: are fulfilled through our partner Borderfree. Simply add your items to your cart and click on "Canadian Checkout" to complete your order. You will pay Borderfree the total amount for your order in Canadian dollars (which means that they will bill your credit card) and we will ensure that products get right to your door. Order Tracking

Tracking numbers are automatically e-mailed to customers on most orders that ship within the continental U.S.A. Most orders can be tracked by going to our Order Tracking Page and entering your order number. If you have difficulties tracking your order, or have questions relating to your order, please contact us for further assistance.

Sales Tax

Stacks and Stacks collects California and Pennsylvania sales tax only. The tax rate is based on the ship to address.
