I've owned my shoji with shelves for about 4 years now, and have moved several times with it. It has served various purposes in various rooms (I like to rearrange!) and not only is it a great space divider, but it's decorative as well. I wasn't sure I'd like the shelved shoji at first, but I'm so glad that it's the one I purchased. It's both sturdy (I'm hard on furniture) and attractive.

These screens are the best. Excellent quality and the price was great compared to others. I really like the fact that they let light through but provide privacy. However, the icing on the cake are the shelves that give you storage for books, pictures, plants etc.and there is basically no assembly. Unbox them, stand them up, slide the shelves through the slots and you are good to go! I highly recommend them.
