This ingenious machine dispenses water at a brisk temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and can make ice cubes or crushed ice in only ten minutes! You'll love the patented crushed ice production method - it results in perfectly flaked ice. Plus, this machine gives you several installation options! You can use a direct water line connection (water hose included), or manually fill the 2 liter reservoir. Or place a 3 or 5 gallon water bottle to the top of this unit (bottle adapter included). This dispenser features 5 button operation, and has a self cleaning function. This machine has a high efficiency CFC-free compressor, and features a maximum power of 230 watts. Please allow 6" clearance space from the top, back and sides to provide adequate ventilation. 110V AC 60 Hz. I love the crushed ice. Unfortunately, if not used within a 24 hour period, it shuts off and then you have to restart it. It takes about 10 minutes to make the ice. I usually don't have the time to wait and get the cubed ice out of the fridge instead. We have a sub zero fridge and it doesn't come with a crushed ice option and this is the only option I've found so far. The cold water dispenser is so slow that it takes about a minute or more to fill a glass. Not practical so we don't use that function.
