The SportsShade keeps you up to 15 degrees cooler than direct sunlight, less demand on your body to regulate temperature = conserved energy. The SportsShade is a fully retractable portable awning for sports and recreation with no assembly required - easily sets up in 5 minutes! It easily attaches to any SUV, van or truck, cyclone fence, or even a tree limb. The awning material is water-resistant, lightweight polyester fabric meeting CPAI-84 fire codes (175 cm wide (68.9") x 245 cm (96.5") long with front edge to have aluminum stiffener bar sewn in pocket). The top of the awning is reflective silver, bottom is black, with your choice of red, blue (shown), or black front panel that can be silk-screened (done by customer) with your team name (maximum print area 6" x 58", panel attaches with velcro). The housing is constructed of lightweight anodized aluminum tubing, the torsional roller is 18 cm (7.1") diameter aluminum with torsional spring fittings at each end to retract awning material, and poles are lightweight anodized aluminum with bottom edges fitted with plastic bearing (175 cm long (68.9")).
