I love this item. While you can use it to add shelving in your closet, you can also use it as a shoe rack.
I have 8 kids ranging from the age of 11 years to 4 months and I was looking for a way to control all the shoes that we have lying all over the house. The problem is that the little kids shoes don't fit on a traditional shoe rack. This system is great because I was able to stack 4 units together to create as shelf system for the shoes that we don't use all the time.
The units can fit 4 pairs of my shoes on one shelf, so I can get 8 pairs of shoes on one unit.
They are super easy to put together (about 5 minutes) and you need any tools to do it.
When you stack the units as high as I did, they can be a little wobbly, so I put them in the corner and that fixed the problem.
Over all, this is a wonderful product that has really helped keep our shoe mess to a minimum.
