I used these containers to store my family's crystal. They worked great! They are tall enough to put 2 of the smaller pieces together for even more space saving. The outside walls don't provide a lot of protection, they are kind of thin, but I was able to place them on shelves where this is not a problem. I would definitely buy these again if the need arose!

Recently purchased this and several other of the white vinyl china and glass storage items. This item was sewn a bit off, so the corners of the vinyl don't line up with the corners of the cardboard inserts. Getting the box to zip shut required quite a bit of stretching and forcing, but I finally got it. Luckily it's not being stored in a visible spot, because it's pretty obviously not square. The item will protect my glasses from getting dusty, and will provide some protection against bumps and scrapes, so in that respect it is fine for the price. But this and the other similar items are cheaply made and I wonder how long it will be before they rip or the zippers break. I'm checking off "yes, I would recommend it to a friend" but only because the item is relatively cheap, and it will basically do the job if all you're looking for is basic storage.

We have crystal from several people in our family and cannot display or use all of it at a time. The stemware storage box us useful for keeping the stems clean and together while being stored. There is one disappointing problem, however. We have several sizes of sherbet stems and their bowls are too big around to fit in these stemware boxes. I have found nowhere that has a storage chest for those stems. Since some of our crystal is very old and of great sentimental value, I want to store it safely but found that the quilted plastic wasn't as thick as I thought it would be from the picture. Even so, it is a better way to store the stems than trying to wrap them and put them in storage boxes.

I have several of these storage chests because, I don't have enough cabinet space for all my stemware. I use them for my many different sets of wine and water stemware, they are kept clean, dry, protected from dust and chipping. In these storage chests I don't have to worry about my stemware while stored in the attic room, awaiting their turn to be used at the table. I do wish they had a bit stronger bottom in them.
