I have so many of these Sterilite organizers, I've lost count. This particular size I've used for organizing my craft tools. It's long enough for some of my larger and longer craft tools, such as my styrofoam saw, grommet tool, flexible ruler, jewelry files, etc. I didn't need a container that was very deep but long enough to accomodate the length of my craft tools.
I also use one for a greeting card organizer. I found that the book I was using to organize my greeting cards by the month wasn't large enough to fit all my cards I was sending out to my family and friends, because all were adding to their families. Some of the children's cards I sent were larger than a typical card size. This rectangular shaped container was the best fit for organizing my greeting cards. Again, I didn't need the depth to be very large, so this container was just right. I customized folders to fit the container for each month and had plenty of room for all the cards I send out for all the nieces and nephews, and friends and their children.
