Bought this for my son who has a disability. The swivel seat is a great idea, helps with transitions in/out of shower, BUT.....the three leg design is unsafe. The stool tips easily and could result in falls. Wish it had four legs.

Dennis M: The stool stays down in the tub because the honey comb pattern style legs fill up with water and it holds it down.

"Carole," D: Sorry I can't help on that since we recently converted our bathtub area from tub to a shower. I purchased it for my husband to use in the shower, no tub. However, it is fairly heavy and I can't imagine that it would float. We're still using it and have had no problems. Was a good buy for us.

Charles C: Shower stool has proven very durable and supports large man having very little mobility. Heavy duty construction so it should stay firmly planted in tub filled with water. Easy to move around in shower stall. Serves its purpose very well.
