We have used a whale faucet fountain for about 15 years but when the cat started to chew on it (not your avarage cat), we needed a back up. The dolphin is prettier than our old whale and works just as well. The cat has yet to chew through his whale.

We are using this in our main bathroom that we share with the kids. It is cute and fits easily on the faucet. The only problem I see is that it might not be that sanitary because the bottom flap of the dolphin (part that stays open when not using it to drink from) hangs down into the sink and when people wash their hands etc. it is easy to touch this part, so it may not be as clean and sanitary as one would hope. The water runs on it when the faucet is on, so I suppose it is also getting washed from the running water. It's still probably cleaner than sharing a bathroom cup and more convenient.

These fountains do not work as expected as they merely press on and will come off without holding them on. They don't work, don't buy !!!
