The audible setting is used to direct the sound, and focuses the No Bark's sound waves to an exact spot (barking location) as required. Then, the unit may be switched to the ultrasonic mode. The No Bark automatically turns on when barking occurs. The No Bark's ultrasonic sounds distract your dog from barking, eventually training your dog to stop barking as soon as he hears the sound.
