Shopper: does it take a standard twin mattress and what supports the mattress?
Matt M: Thank you for your interest in this bed frame. It has recently been added to our site and has not yet been purchased. Unfortunately there is no one to answer your question at this time. I have sent an email to the manufacturer to see what if the frame needs a box spring or if it has slats, and also to see if it holds a standard twin mattress.
