This Maple Transit U-shaped workcenter and file group is constructed of top quality MDF engineered wood with 1-inch thick worksurfaces and has a durable thermofused Maple and Honey melamine finish. Looking to make over your office? Start with the corner desk, and add the other pieces as your needs evolve.
  • The corner desk has a large keyboard shelf, a mobile CPU platform and a low hutch/monitor platform with dedicated CD storage. The unit has a utility drawer and a file drawer that glide on metal drawer slides. The file drawer accommodates letter and legal files. The unit has metal finishes on its handles.
  • The hutch has enclosed storage behind double doors and 2 open paper storage compartments. 
  • The peninsula has durable PVC edging and a sturdy metal support post. 
  • The lateral file has drawers that accommodate letter and legal files and glide on heavy duty metal full extension ball bearing slides. The file has a durable PVC edging on the worksurface. 
All pieces have a 5-year limited warranty and moderate assembly is required. From Bestar.

      The Hutch is very nice but I wish that the two areas that were left open, under each door where closed in. \n\nI'm happy with the hutch. The two small slots can be used for the printer paper, or writing pads.\nThe only problem is to remember to dust off the paper or the pad before using them. \n\nNo cover on this area allows dust to settle on the top of each pile of items.

        Big and spacious desk area. Room for the laptop to the side area and a lamp on the other side. Still leaving large open desk area. Use in many ways. Even my portable Singer sewing machine. It is just the right height.\n\nThis area will come in handy for many uses.\nDesk top\nTable for the sewing machine when needed\nWrapping packages and presents. \n\nI love it!!!

          It fits perfectly in the corner of my basement office. Having the empty desk area in front of the monitor and the computer keyboard on the pull out shelf makes it easy for taking notes while on the computer. Awesome. Very comfortable to work at during a long day.
