The Umbra Natural Flip Wall Hook provides coat or hat storage when it's needed and the hooks flip closed when not in use. The sleek, modern design is a compact and contemporary alternative to a coat rack. Designed by David Quan of Umbra, this attractive, modern design combines sleek simplicity and function for a wall-piece you'll be proud to display it in your foyer or hallway. Five brushed nickel hooks have a five pound capacity and 3.25 inches of space between for holding bulky coats. The base is attractive blonde hardwood, which nicely contrasts the brushed nickel. Installing is easy with the included hardware.

5 What a Great Idea!
Marianne (Madison, CT)
I looked for awhile to try and find a wall hook that was low profile since it was going behind my front door. This by far exceeded my expectations! Not only does it look like contemporary wall art when closed, it is very sturdy and holds 5 coats!
5 Very European in Style!
Andy (Harbor City, CA)
Bought one. Then another. Then another! Everyone who see this in my house wants it! It looks very cool with wood and brushed steel when hooks are retracted, yet can open to allow towels for guests, coats by the door or any quick hang up purpose where you want it to look good when it IS NOT holding anything as well as with. VERY well made, easy to install (use a level) and will last a lifetime. Price seems quite a bargain when you see it put up! Bottom Line: recommended
5 Nice coat rack
Norm in CT (Farmington CT USA)
I needed a coat rack for the wall near my rear door. This rack was stilish and functional. It blends in well with the kitchen cabinets as they are a similar color.I would purchase one again. [...] Bottom Line: recommended
The coat rack is one of the first things clients comment on when they come into the waiting room. It has only been up one month and already three of my clients have bought it. Should be in MOMA Bottom Line: recommended
5 very stylish. Very efficiant, i love it
Barbara (Griggsville, Ill.)
The product arrived 2 days earlier than supposed to. No problems what so ever with ordering or delivery. All in all a great experience. Bottom Line: recommended
Taste Buddy (Middletown, CT)
I hung two units side-by-side over a bench in my bedroom. I chose this model because the hooks could be retracted when not in use. The effect is slightly mysterious--sweaters suspended on the wall as though by their own choice. It's fun and makes straightening up less of a chore. Bottom Line: recommended
5 Love this hook!
Mom of Three (Doylestown, PA)
I have this hook in my laundry room/mud room, which is fairly narrow, so the folding hook idea is GREAT! The hooks are out of the way when not in use, so nobody bumps into them and gets jabbed. It looks really contemporary. All three of my children hang their backpacks on it, so it is obviously sturdy. Very good quality - I actually am buying a second one as soon as I finish this review! Bottom Line: recommended
5 No more guest's coats on my bed
Richard (DANVILLE, CA)
I have a good amount of parties. I have one of these upstairs and one near the front door. No more guest's coats on my bed and sofa! Bottom Line: recommended
5 contemporary, sleek, functional
NCK Jim (Beloit, KS)
This flip wall hook turned out to be more than we hoped. The base is made from quality wood stock, the flip hooks were built so that they will hold any coat or hat. By adding this wall hook to our entryway, it added to the decor. This purchase was well worthwhile. As I write this, my wife is continually adding suggestions for how much we enjoy this product. This coat rack was exactly what it appeared to be online. It is also a great value for the money.
5 Works great. We put ours ...
Sheila Carlson (Undisclosed)
Works great. We put ours low enough for our 8 year old to hang up his own coat.
5 I saw this product ...
Laura Wasilco (Undisclosed)
I saw this product several years ago in a catalog, before I even had a use for it. My 70+ year old house has no entry way closet. This product worked perfectly where I want it. It comes with its own template to help you hang it straight and installs very quickly. I love that the hooks flip up flush with the base when not in use.
5 I have already ordered 4 ...
I have already ordered 4 of these and i am ordering two more for my boys rooms.
5 Love it!
I was looking for something that was creative and unique and that's what I got. I only wish it would have come in white. Bottom Line: recommended
5 I'm so happy I discovered these!
Home remodeler (Edgewater MD)
I love these hooks! They are very attractive, so cool with the flip down hooks, easy to install, AND reasonably priced! A note on the installation- just make sure that you measure the actual distance between the holes- don't use the paper template as it may be slightly off. Thank you everyone else for your reviews- you were totally right about how great these are. Bottom Line: recommended
5 wall hook

5 Looks great, works great!
Shane (Detroit, Michigan)
This rack is very easy to install and very sturdy for heavy coats such as ones made out of Leather. It looks great in our Foyer, and is perfect for hanging up guests' coats. When not being used all the hooks can be folded up and it blends in to the surrouding area; it does't look like a coat rack. I received many compliments on this rack. Bottom Line: recommended
5 You Gotta Love this product.

4 A nice looking coat hook ...
A nice looking coat hook -- modern, sleek. But to mount it on the wall, you have to drill four precisely-spaced holes along a perfectly level line, and the screw heads must all stick out from the wall at the same exact distance. Not easy -- in fact, we settled for three out of four. Looks nice, does its job well, but surely a simpler way to mount it on the wall could be figured out!
4 Great style
Nanc (Fargo, ND)
I like the sleek style to this and the fact that the hooks flip up when you don't need them. Bottom Line: recommended
4 Works well.

4 Great looking hook!!
Melissa from Indesign (Chicago, Illinois)
I love that there are 5 hooks. The pull down design is great. Only downfall is it must be secured properly because if the weight of the items being held is only on one side the other end lifts up. Wish the manufacturer supplied the Proper screws. Bottom Line: recommended
4 Nice coat rack
Product looks good, seems well made. Installation pretty straight forward if you are handy with tools. Instructions did not tell you what to do to install into a stud, which you may want to do to place rack where you want it. I had to buy a longer screw to install one end into a stud.
