Comments about Stacks and Stacks Umbrella and Flag Deck Stand: This umbrella stand solved the problem of how to anchor our patio umbrella while using a small tete a tete table. There was not enough room under the table to use a conventional (heavy, huge) umbrella stand. But, this worked perfectly! Very easy to install and to move to other locations. Could have a heavier coat of paint, however. Pros

I almost returned it but decided to pick the one spot I want to place it and gouge out the wood. But this should not be necessary.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Umbrella and Flag Deck Stand: I was skeptical about the price! This truly is a remarkable product. Easy to install on the deck. I get high winds in the back yard and this stand is great! I just love it. The best part is that I can move the stand around on the deck, if I choose to do so. And I'll be able to put it away in the Fall and not leave it out all winter to rust! Comments about Stacks and Stacks Umbrella and Flag Deck Stand: If your deck or dock is not constructed of 2 x 4s -- as in 2" in depth -- the stand is dangerous and sways from the weight of the umbrella.
