The umbrella stands are made from high-quality steel, with a brown Rust-Tex finish for style and durability. The inside dimension of the receiver tube is 1 1/2" and can be used for umbrellas up to 9 feet in diameter. Suggested for decks made of standard 2" x 4" -- with shallower deck slats the product may not mount as securely.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Umbrella and Flag Deck Stand: This umbrella stand solved the problem of how to anchor our patio umbrella while using a small tete a tete table. There was not enough room under the table to use a conventional (heavy, huge) umbrella stand. But, this worked perfectly! Very easy to install and to move to other locations. I almost returned it but decided to pick the one spot I want to place it and gouge out the wood. But this should not be necessary.
