Comments about Stacks and Stacks Umbrella and Flag Pole Stand: We had one of these and left it at a swim meet, where someone picked it up and never returned it ... so I'm going to order another one! This stand is perfect for use at soccer games and swim meets, anywhere you want to use an umbrella. It doesn't matter if the dirt is hard (the spikes go right in), and it doesn't tear up the grass like some stands. We always get asked where we got it, as people are jealous when their umbrellas blow over and ours stays put. Kind of pricey - but totally worth it. Comments about Stacks and Stacks Umbrella and Flag Pole Stand: We learned quickly that this stand works best in grass, not in sand or plain dirt. We live in a windy, windy area and entertain a lot. This stand did not budge in the wind (when it was placed in grass). The free standing umbrella stands moved around quite a bit and made us worry about the safety of our guests.
