Shopper: Where is the foot pedal? I have this broom set and I can't find the foot pedal. It's not as easy to use as the similar set I have from OXO because I can't figure out how to lock it in place. It flops around when full and won't hold in place to dump the contents.
LINDA L A: There is no foot pedal. Mine works on gravity to close it. When dumping I hold the back and tip dirt etc. into the trash. When finished I just tap the front of the dustpan and I'm done. Hope that helps. I like mine very much.
