Shopper: What size Propane bottles does this use and how long do they last?

The manufacturer recommends a tank of 20 pounds. A 20 pound tank should last between 15-20 hours, the fire pit uses about 1 pound of fuel and hour. I hope that helps!

Shopper: Where does the tank sit? Under the table or does it require a hose and separate tank?
Also, does the stainless top get hot as well?

Matt M: Thank you for your interest in this coffee. It has recently been added to our site and has not yet been purchased. Unfortunately, there are no customers to answer your inquiry at this time. The coffee table requires a separate tank (20 pounds recommended) that you would attach with a hose. I will check with the manufacturer to see if the top gets hot, I believe it does not.
