The FamilyVac effectively eliminates up to 99.7% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size - the real problem for allergy and asthma sufferers (an ordinary household vacuum cleaner removes particles 35 microns or larger in size). It acts as an environment control to relieve allergy, asthma, and respiratory ailments. The Family Vacuum uses 3 separate filters, including a HEPA filter, meaning the dust you pick up is trapped in the vacuum, not blown through the exhaust. It comes with a complete set of accessories (see zoom) which let you easily vacuum flors, rugs, draperies, walls, and furniture, as well as crevices and corners where dust may be hard to reach (other accessories available separately). The vacuum features heavy duty, non-skid wheels (2 fixed, 1 swivel) that are protected under the vacuum housing to provide maximum stability and easy maneuverability.
