I'm not a big one for a lot of stuff sitting out on counters to take up space, so I prefer to put my jewelry in drawers, out of sight and dust free. I have a mix of fashion and fine jewelry. These trays are great for all that, and I can stack two layers of these trays in my particular drawers. My drawers are not very big or deep, but I can fit 8 of the square trays (with various partitions) in two small drawers! Absolutely ideal for me. Have only used these for 3.5 years, so can't speak to long-term durability of the flocked lining of the tray inserts, but so far they are performing well. I would suggest to the manufacturer to sell the inserts separately, since they are more delicate and would deteriorate first. The outer tray looks like it would survive a bomb blast...can't ever see needing to replace those.

I love these jewelry trays. They really keep things organized. One of the nicest things is the fact that they have the clear, plastic cover. I've recently purchased several of the bracelet trays, and the only downside to those, which is not a big deal, is the fact that they are not quite deep enough for my wider bracelets and watches. And by deep enough, I mean that the plastic cover doesn't fit down on the tray. Without the cover, they're fine. I have probably a dozen of the different organizers, and love them all.
