This product may be best installed by a builder or someone with building experience as you may have to cut and relocate some attic flooring joists. It is hard to carry containers up and down attic steps. I was able to move a wood and cast iron school desk down from the attic! I would lose two weeks of work if I hurt myself going up and down the attic steps with boxes, so this was a preventative purchase for me! I bought the corded remote, and I just pull it up to the top of the attic when I load the bins, and slide it down when I am done. Works fine, and I don't have to worry about loosing the remote. It has a long heavy duty cord. Pros
