The Versa Lift has a fire retardant steel door to also protect your valuables from fire damage. Comes complete with a corded remote control for easy operation. Available in three sizes, simply measure from garage floor to attic floor. Measurements for the inside space within the lifting platform: 20 3/4"W x 44"L x 39"H.
Also Available, Sold Separately, is the Auto Shutter Safety Door. It automatically closes over the hole in the attic floor when the Versa Lift is lowered, preventing accidental falls. It is highly recommended in homes where children or pets are present. 200 pound weight limit.

Product works very well and I am happy with the purchase. This product may be best installed by a builder or someone with building experience as you may have to cut and relocate some attic flooring joists. Product is heavy and requires two persons to install.

Good friends installed this for me. I live alone, and was having trouble moving decorations to the garage attic. It is hard to carry containers up and down attic steps. I was able to move a wood and cast iron school desk down from the attic! I would lose two weeks of work if I hurt myself going up and down the attic steps with boxes, so this was a preventative purchase for me! I bought the corded remote, and I just pull it up to the top of the attic when I load the bins, and slide it down when I am done. Works fine, and I don't have to worry about loosing the remote. It has a long heavy duty cord.
