This clock lets me know the time and temp. inside and out, A must of the family that go's to work at 6am..Easy to work and looks graet to. If you are looking for a wall clock LOOK no ferther then here..The price was so low I bought 2 ( gave one as a gift.

Questions about this item:
Shopper: Does the remote for outdoor temp have to be in direct sight of the clock itself? In other words can it receive outdoor temp thru solid walls?
Carol C: Cathy - I can't answer your question because I have not been able to get the outdoor temp sensor to work. I hung it on a western-facing wall (shaded by the eave) that faces my kitchen window. The clock is hung on a wall that is not in direct line of sight of the outdoor sensor. (The configuration of my front patio and the interior of my condo really don't provide any spots that would be a direct line of sight.) In the place I posted the sensor, I did not get a signal from it on the clock. Within a week of mounting the sensor, it was knocked to the ground by a high wind and is now broken. As a side note, I found the sensor tricky to mount on the wall and not very secure once it was mounted. With all that being said - though I wish the outdoor temp part worked, I am very happy with the rest of the clock. I hope these comments help. - Carol
