One of the brackets was put on wrong and opens up when the product is hung on the wall. (the opening is not under the clasp but exposed) I have yet to try to fix it and am unsure I can, so it is sitting in the hallway unuseable.

Shopper: How is this rack mounted to the wall? Nails?

Marcia S: I did not use the nails that came with it. I used 2 picture hangers because I hung collectible mugs on it and wanted to make sure it was secure. I used the kind of picture hangers that have a nail driven through a piece that has a hook on it. Then I hung the metal loops of the rack over the picture hanger hooks.

Joshua H: Nails or large head screws. There are flat hangers on the back of the rack that hook over the nail or screw heads

laura V: I just did it with nails. There are two metal loops on the rack itself.

JoAnn O: I used nails. This seemed to secure the rack well.

J S: Either nails or screws will work with the tabs mounted to the rack

Barrie B: There are 2 or 3 small round disks attached to the top racks. I put the rack up on the wall using wall hook hangers and was able to hand 12 coffee mugs/tea cups on the rack without any problem. You can expand the rack to the size needed, and the round disks can move a little in each direction.

Babetta G: We use our racks for hats. These aren't very heavy, so we used wallboard screws to mount to the wall. If using for coats, probably use something like the screws with sleeves. Hope this was helpful.
