This convenient foldaway ironing board is ready to pop out anytime you need to iron - then easily hides away in its own sleek wall-mounted cabinet. The Ironing Center requires no opening in the wall, installs in minutes (attaches to one stud), and comes fully assembled and ready for installation. Concealed inside the compact cabinet, the flip-down wooden ironing board is a full 42 inches long and includes a silicone-treated cover and thick cotton pad. Cabinets are available in unfinished birch veneer (flat door) - can be painted to match your decor. The frame is solid wood. Handy in your laundry room, bedroom, bathroom - even the hall. Bought unfinished birch cabinet. Now I can choose a stain to match other furniture. Wife loves it. Mounted near her wardrobe, but nothing to trip over or knock over. Daughter saw it during a recent visit and wants one of her own.
Only con is the fact that one has to remove the guts from the cabinet to mount it.
