A clear glass outer shade surrounds the interior metal mesh can shade which is suspended from the ceiling with a polished steel string and ceiling hardware. This mini pendant light works well over kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and small dining tables. The pendant uses a single 60 watt incandescent B-type bulb (included) and has an E-12 (candelabra base) socket.
