Shopper: How long is this unit?
Robert B: As I recall the units I ordered were 8' each. My closets were about 7' 6" so I had to make some cuts to make the unit fit in my closets. This was easy since the material is wood. Otherwise I just followed the directions. The 1st closet installed pretty easily. The second was even easier as I had learned from installing the 1st one.
I see most closet shelving use coated metal wire, and to me that looks cheap. These closet organizers are very solid, nicely finished and give the closet look like an "upscale" look. After 18 months I have absolutely not problems with them and I'm very happy with the way they look, function, and the show no wear whatsoever.

Robert B: I hate wire metal closets, they look cheap. These closet organizers are nicely finished, solid wood. I had no problem installing the 2 I purchased and you can cut them to size if your closet is like mine, 7' 6" instead of 8'.
