I looked for a long time to find a drying rack like this to replace one that I broke.
On the plus side, this drying rack is made in the USA, all wood, sturdy but not too heavy, and fits in the bathtub. It will do the job of drying laundry just fine, saving my clothes and doing some good for the environment. Looks like it should fit a small to medium load of wash.
On the negative side, these racks are of a very simple design, and I expected it to be better made. The dowels were not installed flush in the uprights (some too high, some too low), the dowels were slightly rough (will need a light sanding), and the cut-outs for putting the frame together were miscut so it won't hook together properly. I will have to modify this to get it to work. I'm disappointed with quality control - if someone at the factory had set this rack up to check it before shipping, they would have caught these mistakes.
This is not worth shipping back, since the basic design and material quality is ok, so I will get out my toolbox and fix it. It will be good enough for my own use. However, I had been planning to get 2 more for gifts, but don't think I will now since they're not nice enough for that.

Love it. The only solid wood manufacturer I could find(USA). Sturdy. Clothes dry in a day or two. Takes up a small space but will fold nicely for storage.
No wear and tare from the dryer so it is especially good for delicates. My last one went for about 20 years but I think this one is a bit sturdier. A plasticy version I tried lasted about 6 mos.
